building stronger, healthier communities, it
stays true to the core values that guide it.

Our History

Child Welfare was founded in 1914 by a
group of volunteers who identified a sincere
need for welfare services among poor
people. In 1988 the services of Child Welfare
were expanded through the inclusion of 
Childline.
